Geoffrey started his diving career in 1983 at the age of 12. Trained by Norine Rouse and J.D. Duff at “Norine Rouse Scuba Club” in West Palm Beach, Florida he was instantly enamored with the underwater world. In High School a Scuba internship with Norine helping her study and document the Green Sea Turtle population in Florida further enhanced his love for diving. Countless years of open water dives and artifact diving in the local rivers of North Florida help to hone his buoyancy skills and comfort in the water. During his last year of college he began to take several Scuba courses to fulfill an obligation for his Degree. This started with Dive Master, followed shortly by an Assistant Instructor course. Once graduated from the University of Florida, Geoffrey then continued his Scuba training with Bob Brayman at the International Diving Career Institute at Hall's in the Florida Keys. He graduated as an Open Water Instructor.
Twenty five years of Scuba diving has led Geoffrey to numerous different Oceans, Seas, Rivers, Caves, and holes in the ground throughout the Globe.
An avid cave diver, artifact diver, and O2ptima CCR diver Geoffrey brings 25+ years of diving experience with him to Dive Rite. Married for over 10 years and the father of three children he lives in Gainesville. Geoffrey manages both Domestic and International accounts for Dive Rite.
