905 Drysuit Front Zip

#FZ905

Designing a drysuit that lives up to the rigors of technical diving is not an easy task. First, the suit must remain dry; leaking seams or tiny abrasion leaks are not acceptable for any diver who spends long hours in the water. The Dive Rite 905 has accomplished the job by using seams that are ultrasonically welded, not sewn. This patented seaming system guarantees a gas and watertight suit. The 905 is made from Parmasoft™ trilaminate, a three-layer material consisting of a six-ply butyl rubber core between two-ply layers of durable polyester. Butyl rubber is inherently waterproof and the polyester layers add additional puncture and abrasion resistance, plus the ability to stretch along with the core material. The 905 has a heavy-duty YKK zipper, made to withstand the stress of repeated donning and doffing.

Second, a drysuit must fit properly and allow divers the flexibility to reach valves [continued]

overhead, yet also minimize resistance to current or flow. The Dive Rite 905’s trilaminate construction minimizes drag compared to neoprene and rubber suits. With a choice of back zip entry or our new telescoping front zip, divers are able to find a suit that best fits their body as well as diving style. Trim-able latex neck seal and cone-shaped wrist seals are heavy-duty, providing exceptional resistance to tearing. Neoprene boots eliminate abrasion leaks from rubbing fins or rough walks to the dive site. They also fit nicely in a diver’s own fins and do not require a diver to “go up a size” in order to fit the drysuit boot.

Third, a drysuit must have the proper accessories without added cost. The 905 comes standard with two bellows-style thigh pockets, a warm neck collar, Si Tech swivel inlet valve & adjustable, automatic exhaust valves, plus protective knee and elbow pads and internal [continued]

suspenders. The 905 is packaged in a protective dry bag and includes a standard 36-inch drysuit inflation hose.

Dive Rite will—at its sole discretion—repair or replace 905 Drysuit components proved to be damaged by faulty manufacture or material, at no cost, for a period of up to three years from the date of purchase, including seams. Zipper, valves, and boots are covered under a one year warranty.

This warranty specifically excludes damage to wrist and neck seals, boot punctures, zipper damage, damage to the low-pressure inflator hose or damage due to improper “pee” valve installation. Damage to these items can be avoided through proper use and care.

Seam repairs should not be attempted utilizing "Aquaseal" or similar materials. These materials render the suit impossible to repair using factory methods; use of these materials void the manufacturer's warranty. All seam repairs must be done at the factory to receive warranty coverage. This warranty further excludes color [continued]

changes, light fastness, or fading. Dive Rite does not accept responsibility for stains or transference or bleeding of color to other items.
