LED 700 Flashlight

#LT6078LED-700

Continuing the evolution of our LED lights, the LED 700 Flashlight replaces our LED 500 Flashlight as the next generation of long-burning a LED Flashlight. The LED 700 delivers up to 30-hours of burn time on eight AA 1.5V alkaline batteries.

Heat-sinked for proper heat dissipation, the flashlight can be used on land as well as underwater creating the perfect light for dry cavers, hikers, bikers and other sports enthusiasts that need a high powered light that is usable dry or wet. Giving greater brightness underwater than a 10W HID canister light, the unique LED bulbs are durable, resist breakage and are not sensitive to short striking.

The LED 700 Flashlight burns at full capacity for a minimum of 12-hours and then features a slow tapering that dims the light when the battery hits approximately 10 volts. This means divers are never left in the dark, since the LED 700 Flashlight will not instantly go out when battery [continued]

power is drained. It is operational to a depth of 1,000 feet with a double o-ring seal and a bezel design that prevents inadvertent activation due to pressure at depth.

Twist-on activation with a no-slip, knurled grip handle makes the LED 700 Flashlight easy to operate even with gloves on. The LED 700 Flashlight comes with a lanyard. At 8-inches long and 1.8-inches in diameter, the LED 700 Flashlight is perfect for travel. Batteries are not included.

Please note: Use name-brand 1.5V AA batteries for best light performance.

  • It is best not to store a wet light in the protective case for long periods. Moisture will build up on the inside of the canister lid, which causes the switch to rust.
  • NOTE: When shining the LED light onto a wall the beam pattern may appear as a five-prong star, rather than circle. The star pattern is normal and is just how the optics and the LEDs line up the to the make the light beam. You will not see this in the water.

Lamartek, Inc. dba Dive Rite will — at its sole discretion — repair or replace dive light components proved to be damaged by faulty manufacture or material, at no cost, for a period of up to one year (365 days) from the date of purchase.

• Canister bodies and the metal portions of light heads are warranted for the life of the product.

• Batteries are warranted against defects in manufacture or material for 90 days from date of purchase. This warranty does not cover loss of battery “burn time” — condition that results almost exclusively from mis-use or abuse. Users must read and study the rated “burn time” information appearing Dive Rite’s website. Failure to do so can easily result in expensive damage not covered under warranty.

• Attempting to charge damaged batteries can further result in damage to chargers. This is not covered under warranty [continued]

— nor is damage to chargers caused by nonstandard alternating current voltages or cycle rates. Chargers returned under warranty must be accompanied by the battery they were being used to charge. If the battery is determined to be the cause of charger damage, no warranty coverage will be provided.

• The warranty also specifically excludes bulbs, lenses, fuses, O-rings, or other conditions resulting from misuse, negligence, failure to properly lubricate o-rings, alteration, accident, or nauthorized repair.
