LED LUX Canister Light

#LT6250LED-LUX

DISCONTINUED: October 1, 2010

Ten thousand hours of bulb life and the robust nature of LEDs means the LUX offers a high-output, tough light that is ideal as a primary, especially for divers who travel and need a durable light. Touting a redesigned, compact lighthead, the LED LUX has a six-hour burn time.

Operational to a depth of 500 feet (152m), the LED LUX has a Delrin canister that is indestructible, even under extreme pressures. The canister lid houses the on/off switch inside a switch guard to prevent accidentally turning the light on or off. A compression o-ring seal keeps water from entering the canister and locking latches prevent unintentional opening of the lid. Includes charger and comes packed inside a protective case. Made in the U.S.A.

Note: The LED LUX is not designed for use on land.

  • System lumens: 555
  • LUX: 1 meter - 8,325, 3 meter - 925
  • 12V 4.5 Amp NiMH Slimline battery
  • 3 LED array 10,000 hour life
  • Color temp: 6,500 Kelvin
  • 6-hours of burn time on a fresh battery (light will taper and not go dark immediately)
  • Depth rated to 500 feet (152 m)
  • Standard elastic hand mount or optional Goodman metal hand mount
  • Includes NiMH charger and protective case
  • 3.8 lbs (1.72 kg) (includes battery)
  • Slimline canister: 9-inches long x 2.6-inches diameter (22.86cm x 6.60cm)
  • It is best not to store a wet light in the protective case for long periods. Moisture will build up on the inside of the canister lid, which causes the switch to rust.
  • NOTE: When shining an LED light onto a wall the beam pattern may appear as a five-prong star, rather than circle. The star pattern is normal and is just how the optics and the LEDs line up the to the make the light beam. You will not see this in the water.

Lamartek, Inc. dba Dive Rite will — at its sole discretion — repair or replace dive light components proved to be damaged by faulty manufacture or material, at no cost, for a period of up to one year (365 days) from the date of purchase.

• Canister bodies and the metal portions of light heads are warranted for the life of the product.

• Batteries are warranted against defects in manufacture or material for 90 days from date of purchase. This warranty does not cover loss of battery “burn time” — condition that results almost exclusively from mis-use or abuse. Users must read and study the rated “burn time” information appearing Dive Rite’s website. Failure to do so can easily result in expensive damage not covered under warranty.

• Attempting to charge damaged batteries can further result in damage to chargers. This is not covered under warranty [continued]

— nor is damage to chargers caused by nonstandard alternating current voltages or cycle rates. Chargers returned under warranty must be accompanied by the battery they were being used to charge. If the battery is determined to be the cause of charger damage, no warranty coverage will be provided.

• The warranty also specifically excludes bulbs, lenses, fuses, O-rings, or other conditions resulting from misuse, negligence, failure to properly lubricate o-rings, alteration, accident, or nauthorized repair.
